Question

Model reference in two generics

Another "Wild West" mode question:

In the line of text, I have an error message that "pops" up. A certain model (i.e. model block1234.prt) has been reference in two generics. Is there a way to find out what the generics are so that I can clean this up?

Thanks,

Dale

Hi Dale,

Go to

INFO>REFERENCE VIEWER

This will show all the references and dependencies

I hope this may solve your problem

Do you do the info>reference view when you have the model open?

This pops ups even when I am not using the particular model.

I thought maybe a picture would help.

Any thoughts?

looks like you have two generics with family table in working dir or search paths which contain the same instance name.

If so, how can I tell which ones have it?

do a text search in the .idx files in each folder
