Model tree administration

I'm curious how other companies are deploying company standard model tree configurations with versions 6+ of Creo Parametric. These later versions no longer 'support' the old .cfg files (per CS315189).

I don't believe there is an equivalent configuration option to deploy .ui files similar to the old mdl_tree_cfg_file configuration option.

We are continuing (for now) to utilize mdl_tree_cfg_file but, since it is no longer supported, we want to move away from that older setting.

I'm just looking for advice on how others are doing this (if you deploy model tree settings at all).
