moving license server to new hardware Creo 2.0 M010

I am currently want to transition the license server from Windows 7 64 bit to Server 2012. Where would I find documentation to this? Also, do I have to request a new license from PTC or modify the existing license with a new MAC address?? The installation was done previously by an IT technician who is no longer here.

contact you PTC VAR and ask him to move the license from old MAC address to new MAC address.

If you have an account at PTC, you can move the license by yourself at https://support.ptc.com/appserver/lm/rsl/reconfig.jsp

New license is generated by robot and sent to email address set in PTC user account.

Miguel,

For new server you need to get a new license file based on HOST ID of new server. Once you will get that you can install license manager.
