Moving Wildfire 4 to another computer

The computer running my copy of Wildfire 4 no longer works properly because Wildfire crashes immediately.  I bought another laptop to run it on - how can I get a license for the new machine?

Hi Chris,

You need to transfer a license file by using "Reconfigure Software Licenses" option on PTC site, here:http://www.ptc.com/appserver/lm/rsl/reconfig.jsp.

Also, when creating a request for a new license, you must specify the new MAC-address (from a new PC): MAC adress Reader - unique computer identification

Hi,

if you are not paying maintenance fees, then you cannot use web tools.

To move the license you can contact your VAR -OR- you can contact PTC Support via phone.
