newly shown dim will not un-hilite

Ok what am I doing wrong? I'm in Creo 2.0-m070.
I just added a round to a part and showed the dim on the drawing and moved it where I wanted it.
Now no matter what I do, I can't get it to un-hilite. The only recourse is to save, erase from memory and open it again.
I've tried regenerate active model, update sheets, & update draft.
