I have installed Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express 4.0, but cannot gat past the splash screen. I am connected to the internet, I have NET framework 2.0 SP2 and the firewall is turned off - any ideas how I can get the program running? It has never worked

Answer to my own post:

The write access to the registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CoCreate\OneSpaceModelingPE

failed.

Just set the permissions in regedit to allow it to you and the system to write the key.

Then restart Creo.

If it helps, I also get the following error message every time I try to run the program:

OLAPEPP has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience
