NVIDIA OpenGL Driver

When I run the CreO 3.0, there is a fault "Unable to recover from a kernel exception. The application must close" and "Error code 3: Would you like to visit http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html for help?", please fix this problem,thanks!

  • Update to the latest graphics card driver
  • Go Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D setting > Set the option Power management mode to Prefer maximum performance instead of NVIDIA driver-controlled
  • As a workaround, to bypass the graphics card, follow the steps given below:
Set config.pro option graphics to win32_gdi

                                                                  OR

 Set –g:win32_gdi using, press RMB on Shortcut icon of application > Add space and –g:win32_gdi next to *.exe in target path
