Parametric.exe missing after installation

First time user so apologies.  I have upgraded my computer and so am reinstalling creo 3.0 parametric.  Everything seems to go just fine.  The license is transferred, the software installs without errors but when its all said and done, the link to parametric.exe says the file is missing.  I looked in the folder where it should exist and it is in fact missing.  I don't know whats going on.  I would really appreciate your help!

And nobody pays attention to the warning to disable AV before installing software.

98% of the time an install will still work with an AV running, but there is always that 2%!

Wow, thanks for the fast and, as it turns out, correct suggestions.  Disabled avg and windows firewall and everything went fine.  Thanks.
