Pathnames with empty spaces in the config.pro file/

Hello All,

What is the general rule when calling out paths in the config.pro file should all paths that contain empty spaces in the names be enclosed in quotes (" ") whether they are on a shared drive mapping or coming from Windchill?

Thank you.

Regards,

Thom

Hi,

according http://support.ptc.com/help//creo_hc/creo30_pma_hc/usascii/index.html#page/fundamentals/fundamentals/fund_two_sub/Example_Adding_Search_Paths.html page, quotes are mandatory, when space is part of directory name.

Since it's sometimes needed for spaces and any other "odd" characters, I've taken to always using quotes around path specifications. A good policy for shortcuts, etc. too.
