Does PTC offer perpetual license for Creo Parametric 11.0 or 12.0?

Hi,

Creo Parametric 11.0 and also 12.0 recognizes both types of licenses ... subscription and perpetual.

The only problem is that customers cannot buy new perpetual license. They can use perpetual license bought in the past, only.

Thanks for the response.  However, I'm not getting the meaning of this.  Licenses are not backwards compatible, are they?  If I get Creo 12.0, I cannot acquire a perpetual license, but you stated Creo 12.0 will recognize both subscription and perpetual.  I logged a support case, and PTC will not answer the simple "yes or no" question, but turned it over to the Sales Department, and I have not heard back.  When did PTC no longer offer perpetual licenses?  Is the license now only subscription based for Creo Parametric?

Hi,

once again... PTC is currently selling new licenses as a subscription only.

If customer owns old active perpetual license, the he can use it to run Creo 11.0.

Please read my 1st response carefully, again.
