Planes missing sometimes in creo elements/pro 5.0

While working with creo elements/pro 5.0 (Datecode M170) sometimes the planes got missing. We need to restart the application in order to correctly load the planes.(sometimes it takes 3,4 times restart). We have windchill 9.1 integrated to save the data. Each time the config.pro file is correctly pointed, still we are facing the issue.

Any suggestions? or recommendations?

Hi,

if the problem is not reproducible easily, then it is difficult to provide good advice ...

Your problem can be caused:

  • by config.pro option display_planes NO
  • by hiding a layer containing datum planes
  • by graphic driver issue
  • something else ?

Thanks for the reply.

The first two options(display_planes NO and hiding a layer) would have caused the planes never appear, but it appears after restart. Also i have cross verified, it is not the case.

We also first thought of graphics driver issue, but the same graphics driver version works for some other clients.

Also the issue is very intermittent, it doesn't occur always.
