Problem with license out of office

I can't use Creo 2.0 when I'm out of office for example at home.

To be able to use the license I must first launch an executable called PTCBORROW that from what I understand should bind the license. I also attach the file Ptcborrow.zip.

You need to connect your laptop to your company network, then run the PTCBORROW.

Be careful which NIC card you are using on your laptop when you do the license borrow. Sometimes the license gets tied to the hardwire network cardwhen in the office but at home you are using a wireless connection and thus a different NIC card address.

    Hi,

discuss license borrowing with yor CAD admin & IT.

You can also ask them to move 1 Creo license directly to your computer. In this case you do not need to borrow a license.
