PTC Creo Parametric 3.0 error after initial install

Hi I just recently installed the student version of PTC Creo Parametric 3.0 and when I click on the program to open it up I receive this in a message box:

 

windows is searching for parametric.exe. To locate the file yourself, click browse.

 

I tried uninstalling and then re installing but still got this message. I am not sure why?

Bradley,

Seems the startup icon is not configured correctly to look for parametric.exe. Try executing parametric.exe from installation location of Creo\M##\Parametric\bin, if it works create a shortcut of parametric.exe and move that to desktop and change the startin on shortcut properties as required.
