HI Everyone

I upgraded my pc and now when I have models open on my new pc the lines look jagged and not smooth at all,is there a setting somewhere I have to change or any ideas from your side, the graphics card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 580(latest driver is installed),monitor is a 26" lcd (resolution set to 1360x768)

Previous set up was a NVIDIA GEFORCE 8500 gt with 15" screen.

I am attaching a screen shot, hope you can see the lines, any help will be appreciated

Thank you

Rene

Hi Rene.

Seem to be enough to increase the resolution. Your standard resolution (1360x768) is suitable for smaller screens and not on "26"

Hi Valdimir

So you say I have to increase the resolution? At the moment I cant choose higher than (1360x768),so how would I go about to do this.

Thx

Rene,

You might try going into View/Display Settings/Model Display, then select the Edge/Line tab and set Edge Quality to High or Very High. If that works, you could create a mapkey to make it easier to get there.

Your pixel size is 0.42mm - maybe thats your problem.

Hi

Could my problem be that I am running a dvi cable from graphics card through a adapter and a vga cable into the screen?

Hi All

Thanx for the input.

I exchanged my lcd screen today for a full hd led screen, which resolution can be adjusted higher than 1360x766,so hopefully that will be the solution to my problems.

Cheers

Rene
