server licensing problem

When the license isn't returned to the pool, you should use ptcflush.bat. Mine is located in "C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 1.0\Parametric\bin". Your path will probably be different. If you use a command prompt and type "ptcflush", it will tell you the arguments that it wants. You get the feature through ptcstatus.bat, located in the same directory.

As to eliminating the floating license regained message, Iook at config option suppress_license_loss_dialog.

I'm sorry to hear about your license server problems, but it's good to see that we're not the only ones with this issue.

We also have run into the issue of not being able to snag all of our licenses that should have been available.

In the end we were told to release the license and move it to the server instead of locally. We still have time to time issues with retrieving licenses.

Perhaps some of the ideas listed above would have made moving our licenses unneccessary.

we r doing exactly the same thing for now, stopping the server and starting it again. the flush process has not worked even once for us.

Is there any other possible way to remove the locked licence from the working computer?
