setting representations out of date

I am unsure what to expect when a representation is marked out of date. I am unable to see any EPMDocument or WTDocument represenations marked out of date with the settings below propogated to wvs.properties file. Does anybody know if this perhpas related to the null values in the related .filtermethod properties?
