Sketcher Palette finding folders on a server?

So I know this is possible to do as we had it at my last job.  When you hit the sketcher palette, it would have the default tabs but also had tabs that would reference folders on the server that all people using that config could access.

I want to have a database of logos, sketches, common drawings that my coworkers and I can access without having to have all the files locally.

Anyone know of a tutorial or a post that says how to either code or accomplish this?  I looked around a little bit.

(I know how to create new tabs in the local folder)
