Studen Edition Creo 10.

Good evening,

I just wanted to download the student version of Creo 10, this also worked at the beginning. But now I have the trail version and not like my classmates the student version. Can I upgrade this in Creo or do I have to download creo again? If so, what do I have to do differently to not download the trail version.

Any files made in the trial version will not convert over to the education version once you get that completed.

The industrial and educational version are not compatible.

so i need to deinstall and install the creo again?

Yes. I do not know the link to the student edition, but if you are not running that currently, you will need to load that one instead.

 

Talk to one of your fellow students or your professor for the link to the student edition.

my suggestion ... remove trial version.

 

To download 5.854 GB zip installation package, use following link.

Use instructions from following documents.

https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo10_unistudent_standard.pdf

 

Create C:\PTC_install directory and unzip download zip file into it, then run setup.exe.

    Its still possible to install Creo 10 student vesrion?

    I try to install it after downloade the creo file, but I found the error between licesing.

    Hi,

    Please contact academicsupport@ptc.com. You need to send them the Host ID (Mac address of the ethernet) and also the product code used. I hope they will send you valid license file.

     

    Host ID ... this means physical address of network card

    • if Ethernet network card is installed in your computer then use its physical address
    • if the only network card is WiFi network card then you must turn off MAC address randomization to get real physical address
