Question

SWX Worker configuration

Hi

We have currently configured Solidworks and Creo Parametric Workers on a single Host.

The issue is Solidworks Worker is working only in standalone mode.

If configured as a service only Creo Parametric Worker runs and Solidworks worker doesn't get started.

Is this a limitation of Solidworks .Is this the normal practice in setting up Solidworks worker.

Regards
Kiran

Separate they two. I've successfully set this up a number of times but the reality is that the publishing system is one of the most unstable portions of a normal PDMLink setup. If you put BOTH workers on one machine you are exacerbating the issue.

Also note, SW worker will require "access to the desktop" and a user login for the service if I recall correctly. PTC has a how-to on this in the knowledgebase now.
