The Setup crashes at 50% of the loading screen

Hi everyone,

I have a severe problem installing the Creo Schools Edition.

Every time I start the Setup it crashes and only gives me the Windows message that ptc.exe doesn't work anymore.

It happens at around 55% of the loading bar on the very first screen, not during Installation or licencing.

I downloaded the Setup here from the official page. As I write this I am re-downloading it for the third time, with no hope

of solving the problem.

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.

Intel Core 2 Duo 2x3GHz 64Bit

Nvidia GTS 250 (Driver 280.26)

RAM 4GB

Java 6 Update27 (64Bit)

Java 6 Update30

Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Extended
