Toolkit Setup for End-Users required?

Hi!

Do End-Users need the Creo Parametric Toolkit, Object TK C++, Java TK if they want to use a tool created with one of those kits?

We have always installed them all, but now I create a new Creo 4.0 setup and wonder if we really need them. It's over 1gb extra data to copy.

I would say no but I recommend that you had a try.

Fondamentally a dll or exe is supposed to be portable: all the necessary should be included in the runtime file.

I'm open to your feedback when the test is done.
