Question

Transfer licence to local machine

I am using Creo Direct Release 4.0 and DatecodeM040
Hello We are using floating licences with a local server.
We would like to transfer one licence to a local machine so the user can work at home without network connection.
It is a temporary transfer.
Could you forward a procedure to do this ?
Thanks for your support

Are you referring to checking out a license?

This may at least get you started in the right direction.

There are 2 options.

1) The user can borrow a license from the floating license pool for their own computer and then disconnect from the network. This does require that the user be connected to the corporate server that is issuing the licenses. The license borrow time can be from 1 to 73 days, I think

2) Use the PTC license management and transfer a license from the server pool to an individual computer IP address for the computer of the person working at home.

Did you mean Creo Direct, or Creo Parametric?

For Creo Direct, it looks like there's a method here: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs45338
