To refresh your memory, I've been trying to find out how to make compressed 3d thumbnails as Michael Rygol shows in his ProductView 9.1 Overview and Update video. There's a section of that presentation where he shows a ship with compressed 3d thumbnails. When he clicks on a thumbnail, the full productview data loads for that sub-assy. The link to the video is in the email below. I've been working with Tech Support since October 27th on this, and finally today I got an email saying:
This case is being sent to R&D for further investigation. As it stands we in tech support can't recreate the presented functionality. I'm hoping the R&D guys can steer us in the right direction.
Here's a case where PTC is showing functionality, that personally we could really use, but for which there is no documentation on how to achive that behavior. And when I finally got some instructions, they don't work, and no one in tech support can get it to work either.
"Vaporware"? ;-(
