Question

We need to run both Creo 3.0 on newer Windows 7 computers, but still keep Creo 2.0 on computers (over half in our lab) that are running XP and are not upgradeable. Is that possible?

Hi,

We are running a student lab with a combination of computers.  We are in the process of upgrading the Windows 7 computers with Creo 3.0.  However, over half of our computers are running XP and do not have the hardware to upgrade the OS.  All of our Creo 2.0 computers report a license error now.  Is it possible to renew the 2.0 licenses for the XP computers to keep the lab functional?

Hi,

you can try to ask PTC to send you Creo 3.0 licenses for XP computers. With Creo 3.0 license you can launch Creo 2.0.

Maybe you can send your request to PTC via email to - address

-OR-

enter your request on http://support.ptc.com/appserver/support/academic_case_logger/academic_case_logger.jsp page.
