Question

WF4 Won't Start

I use WF2 everyday with no issues and it had been a few months since I used WF4. I needed to use it because I had some models that I needed to reference. We I tried to start WF4, I got the hourglass, Xtop.exe shows up in the task manager for about 30 seconds, the hard drive is spinning away, but nothing.

I uninstalled and reinstalled with a newer build (M070). Still the same thing. The Std.out file has one line in it "Serious internal error; cannot continue." I have several users using WF4 with no issues. Any ideas? XP Pro SP2

Thanks in advance.

We are not currently on maintenace so I do not have access to a later build of WF4. I did try to install on another pc that did not previously have wf4, with the same result.

Thanks all for the suggestions, got it to work.

The culprit wasa config.pro in the startup folder. It's not even the config.pro that I use. It was one with every single option listed.
