Question

Automated testing with Integrity

Hi all,

Our testing is automated more and more and our development cycles are becoming really short.

That implies that automated tests are executed several times per day. Say, 10 sessions per day with 500 to 2000 test cases per session will not be an exception anymore. Is this going to cause issues if we log everything in Integrity LM?

We are already running into issues with the nightly calculation, even with the optimized nightly.js.
So if we continue this trend, I am concerned about the impact on the application (e.g. load the API causes on the server, nightly metric calculation on test objectives), the impact on the infrastructure (server, db, ...).
From an architectural point of view, do you recommend a direct API to the server, or do you recommend to use an Agent (ATEF) instead?
Any best practice, tip or recommendation is welcome.

Thanks in advance!
