Can MS SQL 2019 be used with Windchill RV&S version 12.5 ?

I'm upgrading our Integrity version 11.2 to the latest, but I have to go to Windchill RV&S version 12.5 first.

We currently use MS SQL Server 2008, and if I follow he documentation, I should go to SQL 2016 first, then upgrade to SQL 2019 for the next upgrade.

Our DBAs say we could go to 2019 directly.

Has anyone run Windchill RV&S 12.5 on MS SQL 2019, or are there reasons not to do it?

Hi,

Do take note that if you are coming from 11.2 to 12.5 with an intention to stay on it for a long time - the patch support ends in June 2023.
