Does PTC use the SMTP protocol for generating emails?

We are evaluating messaging services options scanning all systems to confirm all applications that are using messaging.  Some protocols are changing, so there will be plans that span over the next year or two to develop and test those changes.  Need to confirm the protocol(s) used by PTC for generating emails?  Is it SMTP?

    Hi Scott,

    Yes, Integrity uses SMTP for its email notifications.  It would just use whatever SMTP functionality comes with its embedded version of Java (JRE).
