Duplicate Detection for Content objects

Hello,

Is there a way (without using customization or trigger) to have a Duplicate check for Contents before creation.

The idea is to NOT ALLOW the creation of contents with SAME NAME within a Integrity Document.

Duplicate Detection seems to be disabled for Document & Contents. Why?

Greetings from my side.

I guess this functionality is not available with Document Types only limited availability to Items. May be it can be refer as Product Limitation.

But your point sounds good because it will help Lot to End Users to prevent creation of Duplicate Contents.

Correct me if i am wrong.
