how to compare two Integrity configurations

Hi Todd,

Option 1: you can do the following:

1. run "im fields" and "im types" to get a list of fields and types

2. run now for each return "im viewfield XYZ >> fields_env1.txt" and "im viewtype XYZ >> types_env1.txt"

3. do this on the second environments to get fields_env2.txt and types_env2.txt

4. use a diff tool to compare both outputs

Option 2:

to compare individual types you may also compare the IntegrityDocs html output.

Option 3:

you could also generate the word export from the link below (solution #4) and compare them.

in terms of completeness the Option 1 is the best, any report from option 2 or 3 might be a bit incomplete

As Volker replied to you in such a nice way i also suggest to you go with Option 1 that is much simpler and effective too. As i unaware about your requirement too like in which aspects you want comparing ?
