this might be obvious, but at the moment not for me:
Is there a way to see members that are added in a project variant in the project view?
One of our users would like to see these members without having to create a variant sandbox.
As far as I know, the project view always shows the mainline.
Is there a way to show the variant?

Hi Stefan,
try MENU / Project / Open Project ...
or CLI "si viewproject"
and select the variant you are interested in.
Using this you won't need a sandbox to see/fetch any member of the variant.
Note:
You could also create a variant Sandbox and use the option "sparse".
This would create only the directory structure for the sandbox on you drive (really fast), but still give you access to the entire project development path's content.
To fetch a member you would have to "check-out" (you can use option "no lock" so you won't need a change package).
