Include Versioned Subdocuments

Hi all,

it is possible to insert/include versioned(!) documents in a document?

If I select a versioned document in the finder Dialog, the OK button is disabled...?

It is possible to configure? Or should be possible in a upcoming version of Integrity?

thx

Bernd

IMHO this is not possible (at least in 10.6)

but I would love to see this implemented, as it is THE MAJOR use cases for versioned documents (in our company).

seems that we have a similar use cases

May I ask whats your work arround?

Our thought was to include smaller versioned subdocuments in to a parent document. Then, this document should be baselined.

Now we have to use branched documents, I think .....

    We have 10.5

from my perspective the only "pure document" solution is branching.

A branched document can be added to any other as subdocument.

But, if you just like to create a reference, you can create a new relationship field and can reference any live document and/or versioned document.

Unfortunately, then the word export will not work as expected.

I am sure a future Integrity relase will handle this better.

I believe it's very relevant. We're struggling with the same.

Since the RFC's seem to be abandoned, I created it in the Product Ideas section. Insert/Include versioned documents

I suggest you vote it up.
