Problem with Date-type field

I have problem with Date-type field. When I reduce width of item view this field shrinks so, that date is not visible. Is it possible to keep width of date field even if width on view changes?

    Could you contact Integrity Support about this issue? I have been unable to find any information about this, and it looks like a defect, but would require more investigation than I can provide here.
