Question

proxy-settings: automatic fallback, when proxy isnt reachable?

Hi @all,

we're working with a proxy for source, because the main integrity server is located at the other side of germany , and most of the time we have a performance gain of 100%. So far so good. But sometimes the proxy is not reachable, and then we have to let all users change their client configuration, because the client does not do an automatic fallback, if the proxy doesnt work.

Is there any possibility to avoid that we have to ask the users to change the config themselve? Of course the real solution should be that the client IS DOING a fallback, but until this feature is built in we need a workaround.

kind regards, Jens

    Hello Jens,

I suspect you are already aware of this: this is unfortunately not currently possible.

If anyone else would also like this functionality, please contact PTC Integrity Support if you wish to be associated with enhancement 112907/CS85518.

    Regards,
    Kael
