I'm pleased to announce that PTC Modeler 10.2 has Released!

 

Key Highlights

  • SysML 2.0
    • State modeling to specify the behavior of a system over time
    • Analysis modeling to define the simulation and analysis activities required to evaluate system designs
    • Verification modeling to capture test activities that verify if the system design satisfies requirements
    • Textual notation importer - import .sysml files to automatically create SysML 2 models and jump-start new projects
    • PTC Modeler 10.2 delivers the next phase of SysML 2.0 capabilities, based on the new systems modeling language from the Object Management Group (OMG). New features include:
  • Digital Engineering Thread and OSLC
    • Reverse lookup for Codebeamer, which ensures end-to-end visibility for digital product traceability links between PTC Modeler and Codebeamer items
    • Upgraded web viewer now provides a rich user experience when viewing OSLC previews, or any web page when using HTML Links
  • Usability
    • Advanced population automatically arranges symbols on diagrams, increasing user productivity and improving user experience
    • Multiple items can now be populated simultaneously, further increasing user productivity
    • New "make space" function to move diagram symbols out of the way automatically making it quicker and easier to edit diagrams
  • Database Management
    • Support for SQL Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025
    • Easier installation when deploying with a remote SQL Server
  • Security
    • PTC Modeler 10.2 now complies with US. Executive Order (EO) 14028 which ensures secure software development practices are used by PTC.
