Hello everyone,

Is there an easy way to redirect the home page url to open the "Starte Workflows and Documents Web Interface" instead of the default home page?

Thank You,

Paul Hartwig

    Hi Paul,

    What is the reason you wish to do this?

    I'm not sure you would want to do this, as admins (and perhaps some users) would need to be able to access the Integrity server homepage in some cases. But I don't understand your use-case yet.

    Probably the better option would be to simply point users to the Workflows and Documents interface with a direct URL. ex:

    http://myIntegrityserver:9001/im

    * note the /im

    If you are asking about how to replace the Integrity server homepage with something entirely different, we have this article published:

    https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS000150608

    But this doesn't sound like what you are looking for.

    Michael,

    The short answer to your question is that we do not see any benifit to this page and end users will just click through it. We will not setup the Client Installations as we do not want end users using the thick client, and we do not want users using the out of the box documentation because are creating our own training and end user documentation that will be accessed through our learning environment.

    We plan on having the end users define their saved url with the full address, but controlling saved urls can be difficult.

    You are also correct that we do not want to replace this page with another. They would just need to click through that page instead.

    Thank You,

    Ok.

    Just bear in mind, that the Integrity server homepage also offers a spot where you can put your own Integrity documentation. So that may be a benefit to you if you do use the server homepage.
