Rename of si project

Hi all, is it possible to rename a si project? Just in order to guard against misunderstandings I'm talking of "root" projects on the top created via "si createproject" but not a sub-project. According some documentation research I suspect this might not be possible because a project name is as well an identifier, just like for development path names? Thanks & regards, Bertram

    Hello Bertram,

    As you suspected, this is not possible. A top-level project cannot be renamed or moved once it is created. You could create a new project with the name you want, and move the members and subprojects into this new project, but this is not an ideal solution, especially if you have a lot of history in your existing project. There is a change request for renaming or moving top-level projects: RFC 98666. Please contact PTC Support if you want to be added to the customer list for this request.
