RIF: export pictures or excel files to ole objects

Hello together,

I want to export a document with pictures and excel files to a RIF export file and then import the RIF file into DOORS.

The problem is, that DOORS can not import png or xlsx files, only ole objects.

I import my RIF documents with Atego Exerpt.

How can I export my Text Attachments (png, xlsx, ... ) as ole objects?

Hi Florian Huber‌

there is a PTC Support Document (CS126310) which explains on how to import/export OLE attachements.

You need to use at least RIF version 2.1.1 and change the mapping in the gateway configuration file.
