Is it possible to attach a file lets say pdf/docx/excel etc. with a source file in Integrity?

No, at least I am not aware of.

Why not just putting the attachment into Source as a regular file, and create a shared link if you want?

Alternatively, do you also use also W&D? What about attaching the file to an Item instead?

Shared link between two source file could be work..but I am not sure how exactly make it enable?
