SysML Sequence Diagram creation: adding messages

Hi,

I am new to Integrity Modeler and am struggling to add messages between block instances in the sequence diagram editor. I am obviously missing something. Is it obligatory to define all the messages exchanged between blocks before these can be displayed on the diagram? How much actual modelling is required before one can actually display operation/reply/event/IO flow???

In PTC Modeler you can't directy add Messages to the diagrams, you allways have to first add a sequence Step.

 

After adding a sequence step, you can then add a Message within the created Sequence Step.
