Updating Document View with filter with im commands

Hi

I know we can use im viewsegment to display a document view with some content of interest

This opens a new window with the filter

Is there any im command where the user can simply update the existing view ( for eg, im gui will open the current view ). i.e just refresh or update the current view with a new filter ( using im commands ) ?
