Question

Symbols missing from dimension text pallet

I have changed the detailed options for symbol_font to ASME and the additional symbols show up in the GD&T and Notes area however, the dimension text does not have the full list of symbols. How can I get this to update? The specific symbol I'm looking for is the spotface symbol.

We're using Creo 7

I fixed my issue... Even though I was creating a drawing owned dimension I needed to set the symbol font in the model as well

Hi,

spotface symbol is not available. You have to define Creo symbol to fill this gap.

Spotface is a CREO symbol (at least in 7)...  CREO 3.PNG

Spotface was added in creo 7. I use Creo 6 and it is not available.

I do also have creo 11, and spot face is available.

We also ran into this.  However, we found that if we just reset the default, ASME, that we would get the full pallet.  It works in that I can now see the full pallet, but I didn't change anything and ASME is the default.  Anyone else experience this?  Seems like a bug.
