Weld Connections Ignored

Hi All,

When I mesh my model, I get a notice that "Some connection between surfaces have been ignored". The model still meshes. When I zoom into the area of the weld connection, the mid-surface shell has been extened. Why do I get this message, when I appears to still extend the shell?
