Currently have PTC Mathcad 14 on my old machine and i downloaded mathcard 15. i tried to transfer the License.DAT file from old to new and it says there's a problem. i re-run the wizard and select the license.DAT file and it says import successfull or something to that effect. i close the window and re-launch the program and get the same issue.. I tried installing mathcard 14 and did same thing and get same issue. i'm trying to retire my old computer and put it on the new updated system.
please advise.

License files are tied to a computer. You will need to obtain a new license for your new computer.

Go to PTC.com and under Education and Support select eSupport.

On the right, under Popular Tasks, select Manage Licenses.

Drop down License Actions and select Advanced Search.

Enter your old NIC card address to retrieve your existing license information and from there you can set up a new host and move the licenses to the new computer.
