Now that our department has converted over to MathCad Prime 8, how is it possible to access the FRAME ANIMATION function that was available from previous MathCad software versions?
functionality of the FRAME function is required
Solved! Go to Solution.
Prime is still missing a lot of features which were available in good old Mathcad.
Animations are one of these missing features.
I guess animations are planned for some future Prime versions but I won't bet that they will work similar to what we are used from real Mathcad.
But at the moment - you can't make animations with Prime.

As is more functionality and performance of Mathcad.
You will have to be patient, waiting for animation to get implemented in Prime.
Note that Prime development (?) is now underway more than 10 years, and on a number of topics it still cannot match Mathcad. Although in some respect it is better: it allows for multiple units in arrays.
Success!

Please submit feedback through your Mathcad sales rep or the Mathcad Ideas board saying you want the Animator tool, and hopefully it will move up our internal priorities list if you and others who want it keep speaking up. (The animator tool also won't be available in the next release, Mathcad Prime 9.)
Frame animation is planned for version 9, 10, or 11
