Mathcad 14.0.3.0 error 1904 install ocx in windows 7 64 bits What to do ?

Hello,

I did before in Windows 7 64 bits  but  today now i can't install mathcad in windows 7 64 bits, it displays this 16 error on ocx files during the installation..

I have always a network licence that is working.

I found this article Installing Mathcad 14.0 M020 with Add-On Collection on 64-bit Windows 7 but it is for M020 and i have 14.0.3.0

Check you have the following installed:

Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0

MSXML 4.0 SP2 or later

Microsoft Data Access Components MDAC 2.6 or later

VS2005 SP1 DLLs (usually installed with Microsoft Office) - could be downloaded manually from: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5638

First you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64), which can be found it here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18471

And then reinstall Mathcad 14.

1 Ceci n 'est pas PTC support, mais c'est une communion de utiliseurs de Mathcad, qui sont preparées de aider vous.

2. Le (dernier) message de erreur dit que le fichier 'license.dat' n'existe pas sur 'C:\Program Files (x68)\Mathcad 14\licenses\'.

Assurez que le fichier indiqué existe lá.

Not . It is not a local licence. i have puichase a licence server. normally he don't ask this.

Why i 'gve got the 10 errors messages ? SO ? 

It is the same i try toi put the file of the licence server  licence.dat in the PC and it is the same.

Are you sure the license file is valid? You haven't said why you are reinstalling Mathcad, but if it's because you have changed computer then you need a new license file.

It is a licence installed on the server . IT IS A FLOTTING LICENCE. not special local as i said.

It  ask me this at startup , as ususally,  and i have putted my serials

Nomally, in the others computers  When launched, Mathcad searches for an available license. If one is available, it is

allocated to the workstation, and Mathcad opens for use. If a license is not available,

Mathcad notifies the user with an error message and shuts down. Mathcad requires

access to a license server to check out a floating license.

And when i run and put yes mclicence.exe is crashed , here the the message ...i can"t put nothing beacuse it is crashing ..

Your earlier post indicates that Mathcad is looking for a local license file. You need to configure it for a floating license. Do you have a file "mclicense.exe" somewhere in your Program Files (x86)\Mathcad folder?

I'll admit I'm fishing for a solution here, but try this. Right click on mclicense.exe, and select Properties. On the Compatibility tab change the compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Then try running the license wizard again.

Well, my French isn't great, but unless I'm mistaken that error says it can't unregister glr.dll. That's not a Mathcad problem, except to the extent that the installer has some incompatibility with Windows. Try disabling Data Execution Prevention and see if it fixes the problem.

If the DLL is there but the installer can't unregister it then I think it must be a permissions issue of some sort.
