AutoAssociate to WTPart Soft Type

If I soft type the WTPart how do I get the AutoAssociate to create WTPart objects of the soft type? I'm on WC 10.0 M020. I have seen several preferences that seem like they would work but I'm not for certain. Thanks.

On 9.1 this is a customization not a preference change. Iwas given some advice on this previouslyvia PTCU, as yet thoughwe have still not implemented the proposed solution.We would need to modify theAutoAssociatePartFinderCreator.java.
