Extraction of Primary content and secondary content

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.1.10

In a WC2WC migration mode, How to extract primary content/secondary content from source Windchill to a file system location and update the same on contentmetadata table on staging database?

    Check out page 59, File Content Migration Settings, of the Install and Usage guide. I have never used this tool but WC2WC should be straight forward that the tool handles this transfer of file content.

    Are you using the Windchill Bulk Migrator? https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS323926?source=search

    Assuming you are going from one Windchill system to an existing Windchill System? Just checking that this is not an upgrade or rehost.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes, I have started using WBM suite of tools(Extractor, Staging DB, Loaders and Validators) for this WC2WC migration. I found out the way to extract the metadata of EPMDocument, WTDocument's, but I am unable to populate the contentmetadata table (in staging) with primary content & secondary attachments details of those objects.

     

    This is not an upgrade or rehost.
