Windchill Replica Sites in AWS

Planning to move the Windchill replica sites to AWS but like to keep the main Windchill server running in onPrem data center. Any inputs or learning whether this is supported or possible to achieve.

Hello,

You can save money using AWS S3 bucket instead of filesystem Vaults. Also, you can stop/start additional cluster node on Demand, depend from active users.

All the technical issue is the same as you use on-premise Windchill installation.

Details depend from your system configuration (Integration with Windows AD,  custom integration may be required additional network configuration).

So the hybrid hosting is supported and possible(Main Windchill server running in data center and replica servers running in AWS). And yes the plan is to use the S3 bucket to store vaults and EC2 instance to host the replica server in AWS. 

Is the hybrid approach been implemented or rolled by you and any idea whether PTC supports such approach?
