Academic simulator can't connect to ThingWorx server (Azure)

Since we are using a Thingworx entity with our company on an azure server. I'm not able to use the ThingWorx academic simulator. As soon as I try to simulate a thing with the ThingWorx Academic Simulator it says "Unable to connect to ThingWorx. Check your server url."

Does anybody know how to solve this problem by connecting the academic simulator to our ThingWorx entity?

I'm completely new to this IoT topic, I hope somebody can help me out!
